I started racing many years ago, right back in the days of Gran Turismo 1 on the amazing Playstation 1.
Ever since then I have been smitten with clean close racing.
After taking a break from racing a few years back I soon slotted back into my groove with the awesome Project Cars 1 and 2 and Gran Turismo.
As many of you will have found finding clean, fair and friendly races is a nightmare. That’s where GTUK comes in! Everyone is welcome though, this isn't a closed off sim team, if you race clean you are more than welcome here. All you need to do is subscribe to the channel and join the discord for the all the latest and community run events that go on all the time.
I stream the main events on Tuesday and Sunday and details can be found below. Tuesday is our console event and Sunday is for PC. We race different set-ups every week with practise sessions to the fortnightly console event and weekly PC event.
So who are the Tuesday Tuners?
Well we are a bunch of race enthusiasts who are fed up with the demolition derby races that GT Sport (and many other racing games) seem to offer. We offer close, clean and competitive racing, all in a friendly welcoming environment.
We hold an on-going 10 round points based championship in GT Sport. 1st place receives 5 points, 2nd 3 points third 1 point. The overall winner will receive a £10 Playstation Store voucher.
Each fortnight I set race conditions (specific cars/tracks) we then spend two weeks practising under these conditions, with daily, off stream practice sessions which culminates in the Tuesday Tuner live stream where we show off our liveries and fight to the finish line. All clean competitive fun.
If you are interested in clean racing, whatever your skill level, then this is the racing team for you. I put on various nights/days of racing with most racing games.
And what is Motorsport Monday?
Monday is PC race night featuring Race Room, or Assetto Corsa, with me usually in VR.
These races are run weekly every Monday night with different set-ups each week. Again check the discord for latest race events.
So if you are interested in finding a new racing team to race with come and say hi in one of the streams, or even pop in to the Discord and introduce yourself. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level, however, clean racing is paramount.
See you on the track.
